Each year, we help 50,000 families access free arts and cultural activities across NYC.

Our mission is to amplify the voices of families and to strengthen the power of historically marginalized communities through art and culture, both within cultural institutions and beyond.
Your donation helps us to:
- Pay teaching artists to host workshops for families at school and in cultural institutions.
- Provide multilingual resources for educators and families to use to experience the arts.
- Provide artistic materials and resources families use for creative projects at home and school.
- Help to cover the cost of printing and distributing Cool Culture Family Pass, and so much more.

Cool Culture receives gifts through Donor Advised Funds (DAF) Sponsor organizations in the United States. We cannot set up a Fund for you, but we are eligible to receive grants through any fund you

According to the IRS:
Generally, a donor advised fund is a separately identified fund or account that is maintained and operated by a section 501(c)(3) organization, which is called a sponsoring organization. Each account is composed of contributions made by individual donors. Once the donor makes the contribution, the organization has legal control over it. However, the donor, or the donor’s representative, retains advisory privileges with respect to the distribution of funds and the investment of assets in the account.
